Heat Riveted Fine Silver // Apatite

The process of heat riveting is absolutely by all means- magical. Similarly, to the process of making this collar.

Strung carefully on to fine silver wire, are apatite, hand picked by each gemstone’s unique burst of color. Each string of gems is suspended between silver links, which are the holding place for each heat rivet. While creating each link, each of the stones must be submerged under water, while the silver is reaching a temperature high enough to melt. Repeating the process until the very last link, creates an infinite loop.
